Today I submitted the Portfolio to be included in Apple News when it's released with iOS 9 this fall. After doing much research and reading about the Apple News program I am happy to have my content included in the news app. I hope this allows my website to be discovered by more iOS users and get in the hands of a new audience.

As of right now the RSS feed is connected to Apple News but in the future I will be able to submit my content in the Apple News Format. The Apple News Format will provide an overall better experience than RSS with some of the advantages including:

Stunning content, authored and optimized for all iOS devices
Faster content rendering
Beautifully crafted layouts with custom typography, photo galleries, videos and animations
Ability to connect existing content management systems to News
Rich tools for measuring user engagement

I'd be curious to hear what you think of the channel once it appears in News once iOS 9 is released. I'll update you once it happens. Enjoy.
